MT4 Platform Access for Rwanda Traders

• Accept the license agreement to proceed.
• Choose the default installation folder or customize it if necessary.
• Allow automatic installation of Visual C++ redistributables if prompted.
• Finish the setup and launch MT4 from the desktop shortcut.
• Log in using your Weltrade account credentials sent via email.

We advise using the default path to enable automatic updates. Upon login, the platform connects to Weltrade’s servers and synchronizes your account data. The desktop version supports Expert Advisors, custom indicators, and advanced charting tools.

Mobile MT4 Application Setup

Mobile trading is supported through native MT4 apps available on Android and iOS devices. These versions offer nearly identical trading functionalities with optimized interfaces for smaller screens. The installation process is straightforward via official app stores.

Android Installation Instructions

Open Google Play Store and search for MetaTrader 4 by MetaQuotes Software Corp. Tap Install and wait for the app to download (around 8.7 MB). Once installed, open the app and tap the plus icon to add a new account. Search for Weltrade in the broker list or enter the server manually. Input your account number and password to log in.

iOS Installation Process

Access the Apple App Store and find MetaTrader 4 by MetaQuotes Software Corp. Download the app (approximately 12.1 MB). Launch the app, tap Settings, then New Account. Select Weltrade or enter server details manually. Provide your credentials and enable Face ID or Touch ID for secure access.

Push notifications for trade alerts and margin calls can be enabled in device settings to stay updated in real time.

Web Terminal Access and Configuration

Our web-based MT4 terminal allows trading without software installation, ideal for users with limited device storage or those using public computers. Access it through the Weltrade account dashboard by clicking the Web Terminal button. The platform opens in your browser and connects instantly using your login data.

Account Integration and Login Procedures

Once MT4 is installed or accessed via web/mobile, traders must log in using their Weltrade credentials. On desktop, open the File menu and select Login to Trader Account. Enter your account number, password, and choose the relevant server: Weltrade-Demo, Weltrade-Live, or Weltrade-Pro.

Multiple Account Management

The platform allows simultaneous management of several accounts. Use the Navigator window to add new accounts by right-clicking Accounts and selecting Open New Account. You can operate Micro, Premium, and Pro accounts from a single MT4 installation, switching between them without restarting the platform.

This feature is useful for managing different trading strategies or separating personal and professional accounts. All account data, including trading history and open positions, are maintained individually and synchronized instantly.

Trading Interface Navigation and Tools

The MT4 interface is divided into four main areas: Market Watch, Navigator, Chart Area, and Terminal. Market Watch lists real-time prices; Navigator holds accounts, indicators, and Expert Advisors; Chart Area displays price graphs; Terminal shows trade executions and account history.

Market Watch Configuration

Order Execution and Trade Management

Placing trades in MT4 is straightforward. Double-click any instrument in Market Watch to open the Order window. Select Instant Execution for immediate market orders. Choose trade volume starting from 0.01 lots, then click Buy or Sell.

Pending Order Types

MT4 supports four pending order types: Buy Limit, Sell Limit, Buy Stop, and Sell Stop. Select Pending Order in the order window, set the price level and volume, then confirm. Pending orders execute automatically when market prices reach your set points. You may also apply Stop Loss and Take Profit levels.

Order execution speed varies by account type, with Pro accounts benefiting from priority processing averaging 0.5 seconds. Our liquidity providers ensure competitive spreads starting at 1.5 pips for major Forex pairs and zero pips on Digital accounts for cryptocurrencies.

Platform Customization and Advanced Features

Customize your MT4 appearance through the Tools menu by adjusting chart colors, grid lines, and backgrounds. Save different workspace configurations to switch between strategies efficiently. MT4 supports Expert Advisors (EAs) for automated trading on all account types except Micro.

Using Expert Advisors

Activate built-in or custom EAs by dragging them onto charts from the Navigator window. Install custom EAs by placing files in the MT4/MQL4/Experts directory and restarting the platform. Enable automated trading using the AutoTrading button on the toolbar.

Configure EA parameters by right-clicking the EA on the chart and selecting Properties. Adjust risk, trade size, and other variables as needed. Monitor EA activity in the Expert tab of the Terminal window. You can also access additional EAs and indicators via the MQL5 marketplace integrated within MT4.
